Miyavi's joining a band - January 2007
Rough translation sent by Orgasmic Generation (although not translated by her; need credit!):
He said he's back in Japan, and that 300 grams of tenderloin steak, two smoked salmon and something salads, 2 something asparagus, and 200 gram delicious hamburger, but he's not any fatter so no worries. (I'm not worried at all about fat but look at HIS HAIR AND HIS SKIN! ouch)
He said it's been four years since his old band broke up, and he debuted as a soloist in 2002. Being in a band was amazing, as it was said in magazines as well, but it didn't work out and he had to go solo. And now it's been four years, and it's all thanks to everyone. He said he's really feels that from his heart.
4th Member Announcement - May 28, 2007
On Saturday of Jrock Revolution during the middle of Miyavi's performance, he told the audience that he had something to tell them and had us screaming "What?" like "What is it?" Then a video sequence played that showed information about Yoshiki's band and announced Miyavi as the 4th member. After that he invited Sugizo of Luna Sea out to the stage and they jammed together for a song. Yoshiki came out after that to talk more about it and announce that their first performance would be June 29th at Anime Expo. He also told everyone that Gackt couldn't make it, but said "Hi". Ironically *AT* the concert, Yoshiki told us everything except for the band's name.
Anime Expo then reported the news on the website and posted the band's name (THANK YOU AX FOR BEING ON THE BALL!). Ticketing for this event is expected to be the same as the rest of the concerts AX has which is usually through the Main Events arena thus being a ticketed event in which you need both a con badge *AND* a ticket to the event. AX ticketed events are given out differently than for any other concert or anything you've been too before. Those who stay in the Anime Expo block at official hotels will get a voucher which allows them to trade in for ONE (1) TICKET to ONE (1) of the main events whether it be a concert, masquerade, AX Idol, Anime Music Videos, etc. Please note though that rooms for the AX block in the official hotels have *ALREADY* been sold out since before the announcement. The second method is new where you can pay for premium tickets before June 15th. Premium tickets have not yet gone on sale. The last method is to wait in line and 2 hours before the event they will be handed out. Once you get your ticket though, you won't have very much to worry about with people cutting in front of you. The last few years AX has *ALWAYS* color coded their tickets meaning that a ticket is colored to allow you to sit in ONE particular section. There might be some issue with people with the same color ticket in front of you, but if someone's supposed to sit way in the back and they cut in front of you in line, they *CAN'T* sit in front of you. AX staff will tell them to go to the right colored section and won't let them in through that section. People miffed at stuff that happened at the Wiltern will probably appreciate this. Staff members for AX also tend to be a bit more serious when you cause problems. They can and do eject people from the con if the act too much like a dumbass and when you register for your badge, it's part of their "Code of Conduct Policy". Read it carefully or even for your entertainment. Some parts of it are actually pretty funny. They have a sense of humor.

Anime Expo's S.K.I.N. Ticket Announcement
Our deepest apologies! Our online ticket servers are experiencing difficulties due to the overwhelming response for S.K.I.N. concert tickets. Online ticket sales are being placed on hold at this moment until this can be resolved. We are hoping to have this situation rectified within the next day.
Anime Expo apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused and will be extending the purchase dates of Anime ExpoR concert tickets to Thursday, June 21, 2007. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Update (6/14/2007 @ 1:50AM) - Anime Expo will be sending out an announcement to all attendees through e-Mail, regarding the process of obtaining Premier Tickets.
Note: After this, everyone that pre-registered for the con already received an e-mail that they had to reply to in order to be eligible to purchase Premier Tickets. The next day, all those who replied received an e-mail with a purchase link in it allowing them to buy their tickets.
He said that he has something he wants to tell everyone, but not in a text, rather in a comment, in person, right there as he's tired, as he's wanting to tell everyone.
He said he thought that soccer and being in a band were over for him, but that next year, he's thinking of being in a band, playing guitar. He found an amazing guy (older than him), and he thought he'd like to try screaming in the background once again (laugh), so he hopes we look forward to it.
He can't say who's going to be in the band yet, but he hopes that they can in the new year. He's sorry for making everyone, especially Comiyavi, wait for so long this year, so that's why he decided to make a comment.
But of course, he still wants to continue his solo act as a solo artist, so he wants everyone to look forward to it.
He said he'll be working on pre-productions and he's thinking about going back to Los Angeles again, and he knows everyone's going to miss him but he's still going to play guitar, doing neo-visualism.
(Miyavi deshita.........)
Oh and he's going to make sure that he can write Japanese in his journal again.
